FAQ

IF THE PRODUCT IS BRANDED OR TRADEMARKED, IS IT AUTHENTIC? 

All of our inventory is donated and therefore we don't claim to sell an authenticated product.  Any special markings on jewelry that denote its composition will be provided in the descriptor.

DO YOU ONLY SELL USED PRODUCTS? 

Most of our inventory is pre-owned.  However, we do receive donations of brand-new merchandise from individual donors or local businesses. 

WHAT IF THE ITEM DOESN’T FIT? 

It is important to know your size and shop wisely.  Don’t be lured by a good deal. If it doesn’t fit, it’s not a great find.  If there is a brand label, we include it in the description.  Some brands are known to fit smaller or more generously than others.  Same size doesn’t mean same fit. 

CAN I TRY A GARMENT ON BEFORE PURCHASING?

Clothing purchased online can be tried on when it is picked up but please be advised that all sales are final and refunds will not be issued for garments that do not fit.

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM HAS FLAWS? 

We do our best to note any issues with the product in the written description or in photographs.  If a flaw was missed and noticed by the customer during pickup, a supervisor would provide the necessary resolution. 

HOW DO YOU DECIDE ON THE PRICE? 

Like our store, we use a standardized pricing guide which takes into consideration the quality, condition, the brand and the unique qualities of each item we sell. 

WHAT HAPPENS TO UNCLAIMED PURCHASES?

Due to storage limitations, items will not be held past 14 days and refunds will not be issued for these unclaimed purchases unless previous arrangements have been made.  There is an opportunity to notify us of special circumstances when placing an order if an extended pickup time is required.

WHAT ARE YOUR METHODS OF PAYMENT? 

Online payments can be made by VISA, Mastercard and Shop Pay. 

WHAT IS THE FASTEST METHOD OF PAYMENT?

Shop Pay is the fastest way to make a purchase but processing of the payment can take 1-3 business days.   

DO YOU CHARGE TAX? 

We are part of a not-for-profit organization and therefore do not charge tax. 

WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO? 

Evolve Caledon is part of Caledon Community Services, whose missional aim is to provide programs and support to “help people help themselves by working creatively and responding to community needs”.  Revenue generated by Evolve Caledon is one stream that provides funding toward this goal. 

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OF EXCHANGES? 

Just like our brick-and-mortar location, all sales are final.  

DO YOU OFFER A SENIOR’S DISCOUNT? 

The senior’s discount of 15% off for those 60+ on Thursdays only applies to purchases made in-store and not online.   A minimum purchase of $5.00 must be made to qualify for this discount.
